How the calculator works
In each row, enter the odds of a selection on your accumulator (e.g. 1.85) and your stake in euros below. The total odds are the product of every entered price, and the possible payout equals the stake multiplied by the total odds. Results recalculate instantly on every change — no button to press.
Empty rows are ignored, and odds below 1.01 or a non-numeric entry are flagged as invalid and left out — the rest of the slip recalculates without them.
What implied probability of an acca means
Implied probability expresses the winning chance the odds suggest — it is calculated as 1 divided by the total odds, times 100. At total odds of 5.40 that is about 18.5%, so on the odds the acca should land on average once in five attempts.
The more selections you add, the lower the overall chance of winning, even if each individual price is likely on its own — the odds multiply, and probabilities fall off exponentially.
Why payout and profit are not the same
The possible payout is the total amount paid out on a winning acca, including your original stake. The net profit is the payout minus the stake — that is, what you actually make on top. At odds of 5.40 with a €10 stake the payout is €54, but the net profit is only €44.
Worked example
| Odds and stake | Result |
|---|---|
| 2.00 × 1.50 × 1.80, stake €10 | odds 5.40, payout €54.00, profit €44.00 |
| 1.85 × 2.10, stake €20 | odds 3.89, payout €77.70, profit €57.70 |
| 1.30 × 1.40 × 1.25 × 1.60, stake €5 | odds 3.64, payout €18.20, profit €13.20 |
Frequently asked questions
How are the total odds of an accumulator calculated?
By multiplying the odds of every selection on the slip. For example, odds of 2.00, 1.50 and 1.80 give total odds of 5.40 (2 × 1.5 × 1.8).
What happens if I enter an invalid price?
The row is flagged as invalid and left out of the calculation — the remaining valid odds recalculate without it. Odds must be a number of at least 1.01.
Do I have to enter a stake?
No. Without a stake the calculator shows only the total odds and implied probability; the payout and profit stay blank until you enter one.
What is the difference between payout and net profit?
The possible payout is the full amount paid out on a winning acca (including your stake). The net profit is the payout minus the stake — the actual amount you make on top.
Does the calculator accept a decimal comma too?
Yes, you can enter odds and stake with a comma or a full stop (e.g. 1,85 and 1.85) — internally they are always treated the same.
How many selections can I add to the slip?
As many as you like — the “Add match” button adds another row and the × button removes it. The calculator handles slips with dozens of selections.
